Cheering for the Aussies!!!
I suppose it's about time to start writing my posts in English so as for my international friends to be able to understand what I am going on about on my blog.
Maybe you've heard that the Swimming World Championship was held in Melbourne at the end of March. The Swiss weren't that successful, which was sad but predictable;-)...Jo and I went to the final races and it was great! We got to sing the Aussie victory song "I come from a Land down under" even twice, because the Aussies got gold twice. Well, I don't exactly know the lyrics, but my mumbling was made up by Jo alright. It was awesome...as was the swimmers after party with us dancing with the stars:-)!!!

Hi there Miz,
I'm procrastinating and working upstairs and I was looking at your pictures on the fridge and decided to check if there were any recent updates on your blog. I can't understand most of your blog, but managed to get the general idea seeing as I was at most of these events!
But...I am very shocked to see that no one has commented on the swimming!...your biggest and most exciting night in Oz and no one has said anything. Not even the frying dutchman or crocodile ghandi (cool names by the way!) and they comment on everything...have no idea what they say though. So I thought I'd comment on the swimming...what a ripper night eh!...we were not just dancing with the stars...we were dancing with the gods! Ahhh memories memories! Anyway, now you have 1 comment about the swimming, but I really think you should re-post your night at the swimming in German so the non-English speakers can comment too...cos undoubtably if they knew more, then they would write a comment! I look forward to reading...no actually, I'll just be looking, at all those German comments about our awesome night at the swimming!
